Slept most of the day away. Do I feel any better? no. I’m so exhausted trying to function dizzy. Pretending that everything is fine and dandy. Just so tired of it. 😦
Anita Moorjani had a near death experience (NDE) which she writes about in a book she wrote called Dying to Be Me (2012). Suffering from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma she seeks out all kinds of healing mantras rather than submitting to common cancer treating drugs like Chemo. She writes about how it is she believes she got cancer and why. One thing the talks about is that fear itself is what brought on her illness and the many faces of fear we tend not to think about. Something as simple as not eating a food that you think can add pounds is a form of fear. I found the book enlightening in many ways.
She lapses into a coma in 2006 and total organ failure when she experiences the NDE. She describes that experience as best she can and tries to transcribe it into what we should know. Within 5 weeks or so she goes from death to totally healed of the cancer. You can find her webpage and more information about her book here: http://www.anitamoorjani.com/ .
The downside to writing a book like that I guess is how far removed the authors become from the people they are trying to reach and help. I am sure the publisher helps in that serino by wanting them to be extremely popular to sell books. Unfortunately what they really become is an unrealistic figure in the context of of the background. Someone you can not longer relate too because they are so far removed from the masses. They exist in a protected bubble manufactured by their publisher.
All that said. Its back to bed for me. It’s the only place in the world that the world stops and lets me off.
